"General Hale brings a rare combination of large-scale intelligence leadership and enterprise modernization experience that will add real value for our clients," said Academy's Chairman and CEO Chance Mims. "We are glad to welcome him to the team."

General Hale commented on joining the firm: "I am honored to join this great team at Academy Securities and excited about the opportunity to assist partners in their effort to mitigate risk in today's Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous (VUCA) environment."

General Hale holds a B.A. in Political Science from North Carolina State University and an M.A. in National Security and Strategic Studies (graduated with distinction) from the U.S. Naval War College.
