COLUMBIA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Maxim Healthcare (Maxim), one of the nation’s leading providers of home and community-based care services, announced the promotion of Matthew Diaz as the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), who is a product of the organization's commitment to developing leaders from within and advancing the mission to deliver quality care to patients and families across the country.

A seasoned leader and 20+-year veteran of Maxim Healthcare, Diaz joined Maxim in 2002 as a Recruiter. Over the years, he held various leadership roles of expanding scope and accountability leading to his promotion to Regional Vice President of the West Region. In 2022, he assumed leadership of Maxim's Behavioral Division, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the organization's behavioral footprint to 11 different states and increasing access to services for families nationwide.
In his new role, Diaz will oversee Home Care and Behavioral Operations, guiding strategy, growth and innovation. He will provide enhanced regional leadership while accelerating the expansion of Maxim’s Behavioral services in both home- and clinic-based settings. Additionally, Diaz will help lead the evolution of Maxim’s technology platforms, strengthening Maxim’s business development efforts while building upon the momentum achieved through recent clinical initiatives. Working closely with clinical and quality leadership teams, he will further enhance care delivery, drive quality outcomes, and support the continued advancement of patient-centered services across the organization.
