Farm4Profit Media Takes Its Podcast to Tech Hub LIVE and Ag PhD Field Day This July
The independent agricultural media company will record on-site coverage at two July events, in Des Moines and in Baltic, South Dakota, spanning farm technology and in-season agronomy.
SLATER, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Farm4Profit Media will bring its podcast on the road to two agricultural events this month: Tech Hub LIVE in Des Moines, July 20-22, and the Ag PhD Field Day in Baltic, South Dakota, on July 30. At both stops the company will record on-site episodes and interviews, continuing the live-event coverage model it built across its winter tour earlier this year.
Tech Hub LIVE returns to the Iowa Events Center for its fifth year, July 20-22, with a program focused on data-driven and technology-enabled agriculture. The event draws more than 60 speakers and more than 50 exhibitors, along with ag retailers, agronomists and growers evaluating tools for the season ahead. Farm4Profit plans to record conversations with technology providers and operators about what is working in the field and what farmers should weigh before adopting new systems.
Ten days later, the Farm4Profit team will head to the Ag PhD Field Day on Thursday, July 30, in Baltic, South Dakota. Billed as one of the largest single-day events in American agriculture, the field day is free to attend. The day centers on in-season crop evaluation and field trials, with demonstration plots and a lineup of high-yield corn, soybean and wheat growers walking attendees through their practices. Farm4Profit will capture agronomy-focused segments aimed at operators making mid-season decisions.
“These two events sit at opposite ends of the same question every operation is asking right now: what actually moves the needle on the farm,” said Tanner Winterhof, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Farm4Profit Media. “Tech Hub LIVE is where you pressure-test the technology, and the Ag PhD Field Day is where you see the agronomy play out in the dirt. Our job is to sit down with the people doing both and bring those conversations back to farmers who couldn’t make the trip.”
The coverage extends a format Farm4Profit has refined over several seasons of trade-show reporting: recording live from partner booths and event floors, then publishing the interviews to an audience the company reports at more than half a million farmers and content consumed more than 7 million times. A follow-up release recapping the July coverage is planned once both events conclude.
Episodes and interviews recorded at Tech Hub LIVE and the Ag PhD Field Day will be published across the Farm4Profit Podcast’s audio, video and social channels.
