Adamas Energy Appoints Chris Washburn as Chief Financial Officer

Adamas Energy has named Chris Washburn — former Vice President & Chief Accounting Officer of Pioneer Natural Resources — as Chief Financial Officer, succeeding the retiring Don McClure.

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Adamas Energy LLC (“Adamas”) today announced that Chris Washburn has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”).

Washburn served as Vice President & Chief Accounting Officer of Pioneer Natural Resources, holding progressively senior roles during his 20-year tenure with the company. He oversaw Pioneer’s accounting function and was instrumental in strategic initiatives across M&A, capital markets activity and technology systems implementation.

Washburn joins Adamas from Embark, a financial consulting and advisory firm, where he was a leader in its Energy & Infrastructure Practice. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from West Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Outgoing CFO Don McClure retired on June 9, 2026, after almost 11 years with the organization. He will serve in an interim advisory role to ensure a successful transition.
