Direct Destination Exposure and Long-Tail Economic Impact
Cvent CONNECT has become one of the world’s largest event and hospitality technology conferences, drawing thousands of attendees to a single destination each year. With its highly influential audience of event professionals, marketers, and hoteliers who are responsible for their organizations’ in-person events, Cvent CONNECT often drives sustained economic value for host cities, sparking increased interest and tourism. More than $20B in group business volume was sourced through Cvent in 2025 alone, and Cvent CONNECT attendees are among the key drivers. This year’s event is expected to help fill Nashville’s pipeline of conventions and meetings for the next five years and beyond.
"We're always looking for ways to raise the bar at Cvent CONNECT, and hosting it in new cities has been one of the most powerful ways to do that,” said Rachel Andrews, Global Head of Events at Cvent. "When attendees are immersed in a unique sense of place, it totally transforms the experience. Denver was ranked #12 on Cvent’s Top Meeting Destinations list, and in 2027, we’re going to show them why. After a record-breaking year in Nashville, we’re excited to show our 2027 attendees what makes the Mile High City stand out.”
Built on Partnership: Why Host City Collaboration Defines Cvent CONNECT
For a conference that draws thousands of industry leaders, a trusted CVB partnership is not just a logistical detail; it’s the difference between an event and an experience that leaves a lasting impact. Cvent works together with convention and visitors’ bureaus to design programming that is genuinely rooted in the host city’s culture, infrastructure, and hospitality community. The result is a conference that inspires, excites, and brings real value to its attendees and destinations.
"We're thrilled to welcome Cvent CONNECT to Denver in 2027," said Richard Scharf, President & CEO, Visit Denver, The Convention & Visitors Bureau. "There's no greater endorsement of a city's meeting credentials than hosting thousands of the world's top event and hospitality professionals right here in the Mile High City. With the Colorado Convention Center, a strong hotel portfolio, standout dining, and the Rocky Mountains as a backdrop, Denver is ready to deliver an experience attendees won't soon forget."
