Kalshi Launches Advanced Trading Terminal

Kalshi Pro is the latest step in company’s evolution from a retail app to a full-service financial exchange

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kalshi, the next-generation financial exchange, today announced the public release of Kalshi Pro, a professional-grade desktop trading workstation.

Kalshi Pro runs on the same account, the same balance, and the same exchange as the standard Kalshi app, but has professional trading tools for users who want a more convenient interface for advanced trading activity: people trading dozens of markets at once, reacting in real time during live events, or managing resting orders as a business. Both Kalshi’s prediction markets and perpetual futures are available to trade on Pro.

The launch marks the latest step in a broader shift underway at Kalshi: the transformation from a retail app for prediction market trading into a full-service financial exchange for all types of investors. Kalshi has long had the plumbing of a traditional financial exchange — strict CFTC regulation, a DCM license, and an affiliated DCO and FCM — but missed the advanced trading features for pro users. Kalshi Pro changes this, adding the frontend infrastructure that traditional exchanges and brokerages have long offered their most active users, directly into Kalshi’s own platform.

Kalshi Pro offers many new product features for advanced trading, including:

1. Canvas — traders can lay out multiple markets at once, each with their own order book, chart and order panel, and arrange them into saved layouts. Resting orders can be managed the way a trading desk would manage them — sortable and filterable order tables, inline amends, batch cancellation and bulk edits, plus the ability to drag a resting order directly on the order book to reprice it.
   
2. Active Markets Screener — traders can scan roughly 2,000 markets in real time, ranked by price, spread, depth and rolling five-minute volume, and a continuous trade tape shows the pulse of the exchange as it happens.
   
3. Integrated Perpetuals Interface — an advanced interface for perps with:

○ Licensed TradingView Advanced Charting

○ Live order books and a full blotter for each of Kalshi’s active coins

○ Leverage selection with isolated and cross-margin modes

○ Risk management built in from day one, including take-profit/stop-loss orders placed and managed directly on the chart, reduce-only orders, a max-slippage guard and proactive margin-risk alerts.
