National Institute for STEM Education Certifies Its 10,000th Teacher for STEM Teaching

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The National Institute for STEM Education (NISE) has reached a major milestone, certifying its 10,000^th educator through the National Certificate for STEM Teaching (NCST) program. NISE, founded by Accelerate Learning, certifies teachers, schools, and districts in STEM teaching.

The NCST is a competency-based professional learning program for preK-12 teachers. It focuses on high-impact STEM instructional strategies that work synergistically across content areas and grade levels. Educators who earn the NCST demonstrate a strong commitment to implementing research-based STEM practices that engage students in critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and real-world learning experiences.
