Amerigroup Georgia Recognizes Dalton-Based Peds Care Among Nation’s Top Primary Care Practices

Care Provider Recognition Program honors healthcare providers delivering strong health outcomes and high-quality care.

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Amerigroup Community Care of Georgia has recognized Peds Care, P.C. of Dalton as one of the nation's top-performing primary care practices through its second annual Care Provider Recognition Program.

Of more than 7,200 primary care practices across the country, Peds Care was among only 44 recognized through the program and one of just two practices recognized in Georgia. Honorees were selected based on several key health measures, including preventive care screenings, immunization rates, chronic disease management, medication adherence, and other health outcomes indicators.
