Electro Switch Announces David Schmidt as President of the Aerospace & Defense Businesses

WEYMOUTH, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Electro Switch Corp. (“Electro Switch” or the “Company”), a leading manufacturer of engineered switches and related components for critical applications in the power, utility, data center, aerospace & defense, and industrial markets, announced today that its Board of Directors has appointed David Schmidt as President of the Aerospace & Defense businesses.

David brings more than 35+ years of industry expertise and executive leadership experience to Electro Switch. He most recently served as an Executive Partner to multiple Private Equity firms following highly successful CEO roles at Hydra-Electric Aerospace and Hartzell Aerospace. He previously held senior leadership roles at Meggitt and Esterline Technology (TransDigm).
