Mediacom Communications Appoints Troy Griffin as Senior Vice President, Customer Operations and Customer Experience

MEDIACOM PARK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mediacom Communications today announced the appointment of Troy Griffin as Senior Vice President, Customer Operations and Customer Experience. Griffin succeeds Jon Coscia, who recently announced his retirement. In this role, Griffin will lead the company’s customer care, customer experience transformation, operational excellence, and service delivery strategies across Mediacom’s national footprint.

Griffin brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience driving customer experience, operational performance, employee engagement, and business transformation for some of the world’s largest organizations. Most recently, he served as Customer Service Operations and Experience Leader for North America at Amazon, where he was responsible for a $930 million annual P&L, oversight of more than 185 million customer contacts, and leadership of a workforce of up to 34,000 employees across eight countries.

Prior to Amazon, Griffin spent more than ten years in senior executive leadership roles at Comcast, including Vice President of National Care Operations and Regional Vice President of Customer Strategy and Operations. During his tenure, he led customer service organizations of more than 7,500 employees, managed operating budgets exceeding $224 million, and implemented customer experience strategies that significantly improved customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and employee engagement.

“Troy’s extensive experience leading large-scale customer operations, driving transformational change, and developing high-performing teams makes him an outstanding addition to our leadership team,” said Toni Murphy, Executive Vice President of Operations. “His proven ability to improve customer outcomes while delivering operational excellence will help accelerate our commitment to providing exceptional experiences for our customers and employees.”

In his new role, Griffin will focus on advancing Mediacom’s customer experience strategy, leveraging technology and data-driven insights to improve service delivery, streamline operations, and strengthen customer loyalty. He will also lead initiatives focused on workforce development, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across customer-facing functions.

“I am honored to join Mediacom at such an exciting time in the company’s growth journey,” said Griffin. “Mediacom has built a strong reputation for innovation, service, and community impact. I look forward to partnering with Toni and the leadership team to continue elevating the customer service experience while building a culture where employees can thrive and deliver exceptional results.”

Griffin attended Old Dominion University and has served on the boards of the Boys and Girls Club of Hartford and the Urban League of Springfield. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for building highly engaged teams, leading complex organizational transformations, and delivering measurable business results through customer-centric leadership.
