Pivot Bio Celebrates America 250 with Patriotic Brand Takeover and Summer of Gratitude
Company marks America's 250th anniversary and Pivot Bio's 15th year by honoring the farmers who help feed, fuel and clothe the nation
MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pivot Bio, one of the world’s leading agtech companies, will unveil a special patriotic version of its logo and brand identity in recognition of two significant milestones: the United States' 250th anniversary and Pivot Bio's 15th anniversary of advancing agricultural innovation. Beginning July 1 and continuing throughout the summer, the patriotic brand will appear across the company's digital platforms, social media channels, events, employee activities and customer engagement efforts as Pivot Bio celebrates the farmers whose work has helped build America for generations.
"America's story has always been rooted in agriculture," said Chris Abbott, chief executive officer of Pivot Bio. "As we celebrate 250 years of our nation's history and our 15 years of service to America’s farmers, we're proud to recognize those who continue to strengthen our country every day. Farmers are the ultimate inventors, technologists and stewards of the land. This summer is about gratitude, service and celebrating the people who help feed, clothe and fuel America, and the world."
Founded in 2011, Pivot Bio has grown from an ambitious scientific startup into one of agriculture's leading technology companies, helping farmers produce crops more efficiently and profitably through biotechnology.
“Innovation in agriculture should be about helping farmers succeed, and Pivot Bio is committed to doing just that,” Abbott added. "The war in Iran and global supply chain challenges have created higher prices and uncertainty around conventional fertilizer for American farmers. Because of our technology, we were able to expand distribution, lower prices, offer multi-year price locks and introduce several new product innovations. The good news is that technology and innovation are coming fast to agriculture, enabling farmers to farm more efficiently and productively. We’re proud to play a role in helping make that possible.”
Today, the company's products have been used across nearly 20 million acres in North America and continue expanding around the world. Over the last year, the company has released four new product lines and now serves multiple crops over millions of acres.
In honor of America 250, Pivot Bio will also support the Farmer Veteran Coalition. The company will be working with the coalition to offer support and training in biologicals and crop nutrition and will offer other opportunities to help military veterans build successful careers in agriculture, recognizing those who have served both our country and our farming communities.
"America has always depended on people willing to serve something bigger than themselves," Abbott said. "For generations, veterans have defended our freedoms and farmers have provided the food, fuel and fiber that sustain our nation. Their missions may be different, but their commitment is the same. This summer, we're proud to celebrate both and thank them for all they do. We look forward to recognizing their contributions throughout the summer in ways both large and small."
Pivot Bio will be celebrating its 15-year milestone throughout the year.
