2026 Travelers Championship Generates More Than $5 Million for Charity

HARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV) today announced that the 2026 Travelers Championship generated more than $5 million for more than 270 charities – both tournament records. The PGA TOUR Signature Event was won by Viktor Hovland in a Monday playoff and marked the 20th consecutive tournament with Travelers as title sponsor.

Since 2007, the Travelers Championship has generated more than $40 million for over 1,000 nonprofits in the region.

“This year’s Travelers Championship saw record support for charity and crowds that reminded us why TPC River Highlands is one of the greatest venues in the sport,” said Alan Schnitzer, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Travelers. “It has been an honor to serve as title sponsor for the past 20 tournaments, and we look forward to making next year’s even more memorable. The Travelers Championship donates 100% of its net proceeds to nonprofits. The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, based in Ashford, Connecticut, is this year’s primary beneficiary. The organization provides a traditional summer camp experience for children with serious illnesses. Many other nonprofits – spanning arts and culture, education, food insecurity, healthcare, housing, human services, mental health, and science and technology – will benefit through the Travelers Championship’s Birdies for Charity program.
