82 Bankers Complete SW Graduate School of Banking Three-Year Executive Education Program

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The SW Graduate School of Banking (SWGSB) at SMU Cox 2026 summer session on the Southern Methodist University campus wrapped up June 5, 2026, with a commencement ceremony for SWGSB Class LXVII at the George W. Bush Presidential Center. William T. Chittenden, Ph.D., president and CEO of SWGSB, delivered the commencement address to more than 350 guests celebrating 82 graduates from Arkansas, California, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and West Virginia.

The nationally renowned SWGSB program attracts emerging leaders and experienced financial professionals from across the country with a graduate program that propels careers in the financial services industry.

The SWGSB Class LXVII valedictorian was Jim Ed Field, president of the graduating class and chief credit officer, Central Texas Farm Credit, Abilene, TX. The SWGSB Class LXVII salutatorian was Corbin N. West, senior policy analyst – Finance and Capital Markets, Farm Credit Administration, McLean, VA.

The nationally renowned SWGSB program attracts emerging leaders and experienced financial professionals from across the country—including regional presidents, commercial loan officers, branch managers, credit analysts, cashiers, mortgage lenders, consumer lenders, operations officers, and state and federal regulators—with a graduate program that propels careers in the financial services industry.
