DEFCON AI Appoints Lieutenant General (Ret.) Matthew “Jerry” Glavy as Vice President of Marine Corps Programs

MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DEFCON AI today announced the appointment of Lieutenant General (Retired) Matthew “Jerry” Glavy as Vice President of Marine Corps Programs, where he will lead the execution of its recently awarded U.S. Marine Corps Logistics Command and Control (LogC2) modernization effort.

In this role, Lt Gen Glavy will oversee DEFCON AI’s prototype development – part of a 5-year effort valued up to $115 million – to deliver advanced logistics software and data capabilities across the Marine Corps enterprise. In this work, DEFCON AI will establish and operate the technical foundation needed to continuously ingest, authorize, and deploy logistics command and control capabilities across the Marine Corps Enterprise Network.

Lt Gen Glavy brings more than 38 years of service in the United States Marine Corps, including leadership roles across aviation, cyberspace, space, and enterprise information operations. Most recently, from 2021 to 2024, he served as Deputy Commandant for Information, acting as the Marine Corps’ Chief Information Officer and Director of Intelligence. His prior roles include Commander of the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Space Command and Commander of the U.S. Marine Forces Cyberspace Command. Through his tenure with the Marine Corps, he led modernization efforts across cyber warfare, information operations, and digital transformation.
