Uniswap Labs Launches Auction Creation Directly in the Uniswap Web App
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Uniswap Labs today announced that teams can now configure and launch Uniswap Auctions directly from the Uniswap Web App, making it easier to run transparent, permissionless token distributions without manually deploying smart contracts.
Uniswap Auctions are powered by Continuous Clearing Auctions, or CCA, Uniswap’s liquidity bootstrapping and token distribution protocol. CCA is designed to help teams distribute supply, discover a market-clearing price, and seed liquidity on Uniswap v4 through a fully onchain process.
The new launch flow gives teams a self-serve interface to create an auction with an existing token or create a new token, configure auction parameters, and set up post-auction liquidity in one place. Once launched, auctions are accessible through the Auctions tab in the Uniswap Web App.
CCA has already been used by teams including Aztec and Cap to run permissionless, onchain token distributions. In November 2025, Aztec ran the first token distribution using CCA, raising $59 million from more than 17,000 bidders. A review of onchain data showed no clear instances of sniping or automated manipulation, demonstrating how CCA can support broad participation while reducing the role of speed-based bidding advantages.
With the new launch experience, teams can configure:
Token details: Import an existing token or create a new one by adding core token information, project details, and token imagery.
Auction details: Set auction parameters, including currency, supply, duration, and other core inputs.
Pool details: Configure post-auction liquidity, including LP allocation and pool parameters, so teams can move from distribution into usable liquidity after the auction ends.
Teams can also access advanced settings, including custom range selection, custom fund allocation, identity requirements, and verification.
CCA is designed to address common issues in token distributions. Fixed-price sales force teams to choose prices without live market input. Offchain allocation systems can create transparency gaps for participants. By contrast, CCA discovers price through participant demand, runs bidding and settlement onchain, and makes auction parameters and outcomes visible from start to finish.
The CCA contract system has been reviewed through seven independent audits, including audits from OpenZeppelin and Spearbit. At launch, the interface supports Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, and Unichain.
Teams can get started by opening the Uniswap Web App and navigating to the Launch Auction page.
