AngelEye Health’s Katie Taylor Named 2026 Parents Next Gen Award Winner

Child Life On Call founder and Director of Psychosocial Care at AngelEye Health honored for advancing family-centered support for children with medical needs

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AngelEye Health, a leader in neonatal and pediatric digital solutions, today announced that Katie Taylor, founder of Child Life On Call and Director of Psychosocial Care at AngelEye Health, has been named a 2026 Parents Next Gen Award winner. This recognition reflects Taylor’s 16-year commitment to supporting children and families through some of the most vulnerable moments of their healthcare journeys and comes as AngelEye continues to integrate Child Life On Call’s SupportSpot child life informed capabilities across its broader neonatal care continuum strategy.

Part of Parents’ 100th anniversary celebration, the second annual Parents Next Gen Awards honors advocates, innovators, creators, and leaders whose work is helping families move beyond survival mode and thrive. Katie Taylor, certified child life specialist, was selected for her work in building resources that help parents and caregivers feel more informed, supported, and empowered as they navigate diagnoses, procedures, hospitalization, discharge, and ongoing care needs.

“Parents are the constant in a child’s healthcare journey, and everything I’ve built, from Child Life On Call to SupportSpot, has been rooted in one belief: every parent deserves access to the support and guidance that helps them show up for their child with confidence,” said Katie Taylor, Director of Psychosocial Care at AngelEye Health. “I’m honored to receive this award, especially during a year where my work is reaching even more families through AngelEye Health. This recognition belongs just as much to the parents who have trusted me with their stories and taught me through their resilience, courage, and love.”

Child Life On Call and SupportSpot were created to extend child life-informed education and coping tools beyond the moments when a specialist can be physically present. Used by parents, nurses, child life specialists, and multidisciplinary teams, SupportSpot helps families prepare for procedures, understand what to expect, and access practical resources rooted in preparation, play, and connection without adding meaningful burden to care teams. In March 2026, AngelEye acquired the platform to further strengthen its existing solutions, particularly around psychosocial education, procedural preparation, and family readiness across inpatient and post-discharge care.

“Katie’s recognition by Parents reinforces the impact of her work and the reason AngelEye was proud to join forces with Child Life On Call,” said Christopher Rand, CEO of AngelEye Health. “Her mission to put parents at the center of the healthcare experience aligns directly with our focus on scalable, family-integrated engagement. As we continue to integrate SupportSpot into our platform, we are working to help clinicians and families in a way that fits clinical workflows while expanding the support available at key points in a child’s care journey.”
