Zazzle Names Brian Yick Chief Strategy Officer

Finance industry veteran joins Zazzle as the company builds the bridge between AI-generated ideas and real products.

MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Zazzle, the platform where ideas become real things that create lasting moments, today announced that Brian Yick has joined the company as Chief Strategy Officer. In the role, Yick will lead business and corporate development and help drive the company's growth as a technology platform.

Yick joins Zazzle from Citi, where he most recently led Global Internet Banking. Over more than two decades as a technology investment banker, he advised clients on hundreds of M&A, equity, and debt transactions, including some of the largest internet companies such as Airbnb, Carvana, eBay, Meta, and Uber, representing more than $250 billion in value.

He arrives as Zazzle champions generative commerce, a model where the designs people generate don't stop at the screen, but become real things you can hold, give, and use. "Zazzle has spent twenty years building the infrastructure that turns designs into physical products at scale," said Yick. "That's the bridge between what gets imagined and what actually gets made, and it's why I joined." Co-founder Jeff Beaver put it plainly: "AI is generating extraordinary things on the screen. It still can't make them. Brian is here to help us turn that foundation into the defining platform for generative commerce."

That foundation spans design tools, visualization technology, and an on-demand manufacturing network, supporting more than one million independent creators, tens of millions of customers, and 170+ patents. Enterprise partners have built on the same capabilities for years, and the recent launch of Zazzle Events extended the platform into a new category, pairing custom design with end-to-end event planning.

Yick's appointment comes ahead of additional strategic announcements from the company in the coming months, including a look at the technology platform that powers Zazzle's design, visualization, and manufacturing infrastructure.
