PRSN Launches Proof-of-Humanity Platform With Motion-Based CAPTCHA Alternative

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PRSN today announced the public release of the PRSN app, a community-driven, forum-style social network open only to verified humans.

As AI-generated accounts and synthetic content saturate mainstream platforms, PRSN is a deliberately different space -- one where every post, comment, and vote comes from a real person. The company is debuting two products built on one foundation -- a human-only social network and the motion-based verification system that secures it -- giving consumers and developers an internet where humanity is provable.

"The internet is running out of ways to tell people apart from machines. We think the answer is physical -- something you do with your body, in the real world, that's far harder for software to fake convincingly," said Fernando Rojas, founder and developer of PRSN. "We built the social network we wanted to use, then opened up the technology underneath so anyone can build on the same foundation."

PRSN's verification system is a privacy-first alternative to CAPTCHA. Instead of image puzzles that AI now solves faster than people do, users confirm they're human with a brief physical gesture: on a cue, they sway their device while on-device motion sensors, built on Apple's Core Motion framework, confirm the movement is human. The check runs entirely on the device, and no biometric data is collected. PRSN is opening the system to developers and platforms facing escalating bot fraud.

To back its security claims in public, PRSN runs a bounty program that rewards anyone who can bypass the verification -- an open invitation to stress-test the system in the wild rather than behind closed doors.

Both products are iOS-only at launch, with additional platforms planned.
