Genspark.ai Extends Series B to $485M at $2.6B Post-Money Valuation, Appoints Jamison Powell as Chief Revenue Officer

  • New financing marks a $1B increase from Genspark’s $1.6B valuation in March
  • Powell to lead Genspark’s commercial team and drive the company’s next phase of growth
  • Genspark also introduces AgentBase, an AI-native custom database and dashboard builder, replacing legacy SaaS

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Genspark.ai, the company building the all-in-one AI workspace, today announced it has closed a $100M Series B extension at a $2.6B post-money valuation, up from its $1.6B valuation in March. The company also announced the appointment of Jamison Powell as Chief Revenue Officer. With more than two decades of experience leading high-performing go-to-market (GTM) organizations and helping startups scale to successful acquisitions and IPO, Powell brings expertise in go-to-market strategy, enterprise customer acquisition, and revenue leadership.

The extension brings Genspark’s total Series B funding to $485M. The round was backed by Sozo Ventures, Korea Mirae Asset, UpHonest Capital, and other existing investors. Genspark was not actively raising, but expanded the round in response to strong interest from investors who wanted to participate in the company’s recent rapid growth. In the first three months of 2026, the company added another $150M ARR, on top of the $100M ARR generated since its launch in April 2025, as it reimagined how knowledge workers and enterprises use AI.

As Genspark expands its enterprise focus, the company has also introduced AgentBase, a new agent that replaces legacy SaaS tools by enabling users to build AI-native custom databases, dashboards, and internal systems from their own data. With AgentBase, teams can turn data from inboxes, drives, calendars, files, message apps, and existing databases into custom systems: CRMs, HR systems, project management platforms, inventory tracking systems, marketing workflow management applications, and other applications that used to cost teams and enterprises hundreds of thousands of dollars per year per subscription. The product includes ready-to-use templates allowing users to get started quickly building out AI-native SaaS and putting their data to work with Genspark Super Agent.

The launch reflects Genspark’s broader enterprise strategy to help organizations move beyond disconnected software and toward AI-native systems that are flexible, autonomous, and tailored to how teams work.

“Genspark is leading the charge in AI for the future of work and moving at an extraordinary pace, building a product that clearly resonates with both individual users and large enterprises,” said Jamison Powell, Genspark CRO. “What especially drew me to Genspark was the belief that the next wave of AI will not just help people generate content – it will free people from the busy work entirely, with autonomous systems and agents handling the execution. The company has strong product momentum, a differentiated vision, and an enormous opportunity ahead. It’s an exciting time to build on the foundation already in place.”

Powell joins Genspark from monday.com, where he served as the company’s first Senior Vice President of Sales and GM of North America, helping the company grow annual recurring revenue from 8 digits to over $1B. During his tenure, he scaled the GTM organization by over 10x, helping monday.com evolve into one of the world’s leading software platforms for work management and collaboration, which eventually went public on Nasdaq. Earlier in his career, Powell held sales leadership roles at high-growth technology companies, including NewVoiceMedia (acquired by Vonage) and MessageLabs (acquired by Symantec).

As the CRO, Powell will oversee Genspark’s global revenue organization and GTM strategy, with a focus on scaling enterprise expansions, global reach, and strengthening the company’s commercial infrastructure. He will help drive Genspark’s next stage of growth as enterprises around the globe increasingly adopt AI-native workflows and autonomous execution tools.

“We believe the future of work will be built on AI systems that can understand context, coordinate across tools, and help teams execute from start to finish,” said Eric Jing, CEO of Genspark. “This financing gives us the ability to keep investing in that vision at scale. With Jamison leading revenue and AgentBase expanding how customers structure and activate their data, we are laying the foundation for a new category of AI-powered software built around execution, not just generation."

These announcements come at a pivotal moment for Genspark. The company grew from $0 to $250M ARR within 12 months and launched AI Workspace 3.0 and AI Workspace 4.0 just three weeks apart, underscoring the platform’s rapid growth and product velocity. Genspark has expanded into more than 6,000 business clients within 6 months of the launch of its Genspark for Business platform, formed strategic partnerships with Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon AWS and many other leading AI and technology giants, and introduced native plugins across Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and is now listed on Microsoft Marketplace, Google Cloud Marketplace and Gemini Enterprise Agent Marketplace. In March 2026, it launched Genspark Claw, adding a new execution layer to the all-in-one AI workspace that enables users to execute end-to-end tasks across real workflows and receive finished results.

With the introduction of AgentBase, the addition of Powell to its leadership team, and new capital from its $100 million Series B extension, Genspark is strengthening the commercial and product foundation needed for enterprise expansion.
