Swimlane Becomes the First AI SOC Platform to Achieve FedRAMP High Certification

FedRAMP High certification enables federal agencies to deploy Swimlane AI SOC with the explainability and auditability that government agencies demand

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Swimlane, the leader in agentic AI automation for security operations, today announced it has achieved FedRAMP High certification, making it the first AI SOC provider to earn the designation.

FedRAMP High certification covers the government's most sensitive unclassified workloads, and achieving it signals that Swimlane Turbine's AI and automation capabilities meet the security demands of defense, intelligence and civilian agencies operating at that tier.

"Our FedRAMP High certification reflects our commitment to building AI that meets the most rigorous security standards in the world,” said Cody Cornell, CEO and Co-Founder of Swimlane. “Federal agencies need automation they can explain and defend. Swimlane Turbine is built for that: every decision is explainable, every action is auditable, and human teams stay in control throughout. Bringing those capabilities into federal and critical infrastructure environments is a milestone that reflects the trust those agencies are placing in us."

The certification spans the complete Swimlane Turbine agentic AI platform, including Hero AI and Swimlane Intelligence. Turbine is already in production at several government agencies, with customers reporting 240% ROI in year one. Hero AI increases SOC teams' capacity by an additional 20% beyond automation alone by enabling them to both rapidly build with AI and leverage expert agents in security pipelines.

With FedRAMP High certification, federal agencies will be able to leverage Turbine to:

  • Deploy agentic AI that plans and executes incident response workflows autonomously, grounding every decision in MITRE best practices and organizational context.
  • Automate detection, investigation, and response across every tier of the security operations center, from SIEM triage to endpoint alert handling.
  • Integrate any tool in the existing federal security stack through ecosystem-agnostic, code-free connectors that eliminate manual handoffs between systems.
  • Enable analysts at every skill level to develop, modify and deploy automation pipelines and build security applications with AI.
  • Reduce mean time to respond by 75% and close thousands of cases agentically while maintaining full explainability for oversight and compliance requirements.
