Duffy to lead product strategy for Dropzone AI as the company helps security teams scale agentic security operations

In this role, Duffy will lead product strategy, roadmap direction, and user experience initiatives to shape the next generation of agentic security operations. Duffy’s appointment and mission to further the development of Dropzone AI’s agentic SOC platform comes at an inflection point in cybersecurity, where security teams are facing increasing pressure to defend against AI-assisted cyberattacks, and ongoing staff shortages are straining SOC capabilities.

Duffy brings extensive experience building and scaling security products across managed detection and response (MDR), email security, automated remediation, and analyst workflows. Most recently, he was Staff Product Manager at Material Security, where he unified multiple standalone offerings into a single SaaS and Identity detection and response platform for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Prior to Material Security, Duffy was the first Principal Product Manager at Expel, where he developed and executed product strategy and introduced the first automated remediation capability in the MDR category, reducing time to remediate from hours to mere minutes.

In his role at Dropzone AI, Duffy will lead product and UX through the company’s next stage of growth, bringing market-leading product discipline and a clear, customer-obsessed vision to the expansion of its agentic SOC. His focus will be on strengthening product strategy and developing AI agents that security teams can trust for high-confidence autonomous security work, including investigations, threat hunting, threat intelligence, detection engineering, and incident response.
