Allison Worldwide Names Jamie Dowd as Global President, Health + Wellness

Appointment accelerates the growth of Allison's global healthcare offering, designed to help clients navigate this decisive time in health communications

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Allison Worldwide today announced the appointment of Jamie Dowd as Global President, Health + Wellness, effective June 22. Reporting to Global CEO Wendy Lund, Dowd will lead Allison’s global healthcare practice and oversee the New York office, the agency’s largest market.

Over a distinguished 25-year career, Jamie has helped clients introduce pharmaceutical breakthroughs that changed the course of medicine and patients’ lives, including firsts in oncology, cardiovascular, neuroscience, pain, immunology, and multiple rare diseases.

Dowd joins Allison from Weber Shandwick, where she served as President of the Health practice in the Americas and led the New York office, which is the firm’s largest globally. Her expertise spans across healthcare, having launched more than 100 new or supplemental indications. In addition, with this deep bench of experience, she has helped some of the world’s largest life sciences companies enhance their corporate or brand reputations and deepen connections with target audiences.
