Frankenmuth Insurance Names Joe Nielsen as Chief Financial Officer

FRANKENMUTH, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frankenmuth Insurance is pleased to announce that Joe Nielsen has joined the organization as Chief Financial Officer, effective May 11, 2026.

Nielsen brings nearly 20 years of experience serving the property/casualty insurance industry through his work with Ernst & Young, where he most recently served as Managing Director of Financial Services. Throughout his career, he has been recognized as a strategic financial leader with expertise in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and governance. He has advised organizations through complex industry challenges, led cross-functional teams, and helped drive long-term business performance and growth.

In addition to his professional experience, Nielsen is a Certified Public Accountant. He has also served in leadership roles with the Michigan chapter of the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association, including President from 2019 to 2024.
