TrueFoundry Launches Agent Gateway to Close the Enterprise AI Governance Gap

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TrueFoundry, an enterprise AI infrastructure platform, has announced Agent Gateway, a unified control plane designed for enterprises deploying AI agents at scale. AI agents have moved beyond experimentation and are now integral to enterprise operations. Gartner projects that more than 60% of organizations will deploy AI agents within two years, and over 40% of those initiatives may be canceled by 2027 due to rising costs and insufficient risk controls. The infrastructure for governance is lagging behind.

Organizations run AI agents across multiple frameworks, clouds, and teams, leading to fragmented governance, inconsistent policies, and opaque costs. Initial governance solutions addressed simpler scenarios, managing a single gateway between application and model. Today’s agents call tools, delegate to other agents, and operate autonomously, moving data in every direction, often without visibility.

"The enterprises succeeding are those that treat governance as core infrastructure from day one," said Nikunj Bajaj, co-founder and CEO of TrueFoundry. "In most enterprises today, there is a shadow army of AI agents and no one can answer what permissions they have or what they are costing. It is not about the tools. The challenges customers face are related to visibility and control, which only intensify as deployments grow. That is why we built Agent Gateway."

Rather than managing governance team by team or framework by framework, Agent Gateway provides enterprises with a single control plane that works across every agent in production, regardless of how or where it was built. It is compatible with any agent framework, including LangChain, CrewAI, and custom implementations.

Agent Gateway provides:

  • A unified registry for all agents
  • Full step-level observability into every agent action and decision
  • Role-based access control and policy enforcement
  • Governed MCP tool access for enterprise tools, including Slack, GitHub, and internal services
  • Reliable agent execution with retries, timeouts, and fallbacks built in

Agent Gateway joins TrueFoundry's AI Gateway platform, alongside LLM Gateway and MCP Gateway, delivering end-to-end coverage for models, tools, and agents. Leading enterprises such as NVIDIA, Innovaccer, and Siemens Healthineers already run the platform at scale.

This latest launch extends a period of sustained platform expansion for TrueFoundry. In January 2026, the company introduced TrueFailover, an outage resilience solution that ensures seamless AI workload transitions during model, region, or provider failures.

TrueFoundry’s AI Gateway Helps Companies Meet Global Data Residency Requirements

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TrueFoundry, an enterprise AI infrastructure platform, is helping companies meet global data residency requirements through its AI Gateway, a central hub that enables enterprises to manage models, prompts, guardrails, MCP servers, and other agents. Data residency, which refers to the geographic location where AI systems store and process data, should be high on the list of CIO priorities, as Gartner predicts 35% of countries will be locked into region-specific AI...
