Frazier Healthcare Partners Adds Milton Boyer as an Executive in Residence

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frazier Healthcare Partners, a private equity firm focused exclusively on the healthcare industry, is pleased to announce that Milton Boyer has joined the firm’s Growth Buyout team as an Executive in Residence.

Mr. Boyer brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience in pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing, with a track record of building and scaling businesses through complex carve-outs, integrations, manufacturing expansions, and operational transformations in highly regulated environments. Over the course of his career, Mr. Boyer has led multiple private-equity-backed businesses. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Kindeva Drug Delivery, a global CDMO specializing in drug-device combination products formed through the carve-outs of 3M Drug Delivery and Meridian Medical Technologies. During his tenure, Mr. Boyer led the integration of the combined businesses, completed strategic add-on acquisitions, and established Kindeva as one of the leading CDMOs for Drug Delivery.

Prior to Kindeva, Mr. Boyer served as Chief Executive Officer of SCA Pharmaceuticals, a 503B sterile compounding company, where he helped establish a new greenfield manufacturing facility in Windsor, CT, and scaled the company into one of the country’s leading suppliers of ready-to-use sterile drug products to hospitals. Earlier in his career, he served as SVP and Business Unit Head for Drug Product at AMRI (Albany Molecular Research Inc.) and as Chief Executive Officer of Oso BioPharmaceuticals Manufacturing, a sterile injectable CDMO carved out from Catalent and later acquired by AMRI in 2014.

Mr. Boyer holds a Master of Science in Biochemistry from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Physics from Hardin-Simmons University. He also served as a Captain in the U.S. Army.

"Milton has built an exceptional track record leading complex businesses in highly regulated markets serving the life sciences industry," said Jeremy Janson, Principal at Frazier Healthcare Partners. "His combination of hands-on operating experience, deep relationships, and industry thought leadership makes him an ideal partner as we look to identify and build a market-leading platform. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate."
