Aldous Law’s Mother-Daughter Trial Team Wins Big at Elite Trial Lawyers Awards

Charla Aldous honored for her career shaping the plaintiffs bar; Eleanor Aldous recognized among its rising generation

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In a testament to family legacy and a shared commitment to trial advocacy, Charla Aldous and Eleanor Aldous have been recognized in The National Law Journal’s 2026 Elite Trial Lawyers Awards.

Charla Aldous, veteran trial lawyer and founder of Dallas-based Aldous Law, was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes members of the plaintiffs bar “whose careers and service have made an indelible mark on their communities, their clients, and the law.”

Highly regarded in Texas for more than three decades, Ms. Aldous has tried more than 200 cases involving medical malpractice, sexual assault, birth injuries, and other forms of personal injury.

Plaintiffs’ trial attorney Eleanor Aldous was named among the Rising Stars of the Plaintiffs Bar, a select group of up-and-coming lawyers “already demonstrating their litigation prowess, service to the community, and an impact on their firm.”

Ms. Aldous, who joined Aldous Law in 2021, focuses her practice on catastrophic personal injury, including claims involving medical negligence, products liability, and sexual abuse.

“Having the opportunity to collaborate with my daughter Eleanor and to stand together in fighting for justice is a dream come true,” said Charla Aldous. “Receiving these awards for our trial work in the same year is icing on the cake.”

Charla Aldous is a member of D Magazine’s Best Lawyers Hall of Fame, a recipient of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award, and earlier this year was named to the Lawdragon Hall of Fame.

“My mother built a career standing up to powerful institutions and advocating for people during the hardest moments of their lives,” said Eleanor Aldous. “To now practice alongside her and continue that work is deeply personal and incredibly rewarding.”

Eleanor Aldous has twice been named to the Lawdragon 500X – The Next Generation list and was recognized among Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers for 2026.

The National Law Journal, published by ALM, provides in-depth coverage of national legal news. Its Elite Trial Lawyers awards celebrate U.S. law firms performing exemplary and cutting-edge work on behalf of plaintiffs.
