EIV Capital Promotes Jason Tracton to Partner

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EIV Capital, LLC (“EIV Capital”), a Houston-based energy private equity firm specializing in providing equity investments across the North American energy industry value chain, today announced the promotion of Jason Tracton to Partner. Jason joined EIV Capital in September 2022 as Managing Director of EIV Resources, the firm’s upstream oil and gas platform, and serves on its Investment Committee.

Jason leads EIV Resources alongside Claire Harvey. His promotion follows the successful final close of EIV Resources II, LP (“Resources II”) above its original target.

Prior to EIV Capital, Jason was Portfolio Director at JDH Capital and Managing Director at Sage Road Capital, with earlier energy private equity roles at Parallel Resource Partners, The Energy & Minerals Group, and Quantum Capital Group, and began his career in the oil and gas group at CSFB. He holds a B.B.A. with highest honors from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
