Fund V will continue EIV Capital’s established strategy of making equity investments primarily in energy infrastructure businesses, including the gathering, processing, transportation, storage and marketing of oil, natural gas and refined products. Fund V is led by Managing Partners David Finan and Patti Melcher.
Resources II builds on the success of the firm's upstream investment platform and will focus on acquiring non-operated working interests in oil and gas wells within the United States. Resources II is led by Partner Claire Harvey.
Both funds received strong commitments from a diverse base of institutional investors, including pension funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, family offices, and asset managers.
"Reliable, domestic energy infrastructure is critical to our economic strength, and our strategy across prior funds demonstrates how to create value within this essential sector," said David Finan, Managing Partner of EIV Capital. "Fund V focuses on value-add initiatives for our midstream customers while addressing a growing need for last-mile solutions for natural gas and power as reindustrialization and data center requirements continue to accelerate. We're excited to deploy capital into opportunities that strengthen this vital infrastructure."
"Resources II is a continuation of our strategy of acquiring high quality oil and gas assets across the Lower 48. We invest behind proven operators in both producing and undeveloped oil and gas assets," said Claire Harvey, Partner at EIV Capital.
"We are grateful for the continued support of our long-term partners and are pleased to welcome a number of new investors to the EIV platform," said Patti Melcher, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of EIV Capital. "Their commitment is a reflection of the trust we have built, since 2009, of disciplined investing in the energy sector."
