Transfix Launches RFP Automation Software for Freight Brokers, Turning Thousand-Lane Bids into a Strategic Pricing Plan

New RFP strategy capability inside the Transfix TMS scores every lane against the broker's network and produces a CEO-ready bid plan in minutes.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Transfix, a leading transportation management system (TMS) provider for freight brokers and 3PLs, today announced new RFP automation software inside the Transfix TMS that turns dense, multi-thousand-lane RFPs into a coherent pricing plan in minutes. The capability rolls out to brokerage customers this quarter.

The new RFP strategy capability assesses every lane in an inbound bid against the broker's own network, scoring backhaul fit, existing volume, market strength, and carrier density. Pricing leaders use the output to bucket lanes into priority tiers with explicit dollar targets and a written rationale for each bid, while analysts work from a guided queue that shows what to price first and tracks progress against submission deadlines.

Freight broker pricing teams have historically wrestled with RFPs through static spreadsheets, manual cross-referencing, and ad-hoc strategy documents. Transfix replaces that pattern with a single workflow inside the TMS, producing a CEO-ready bid narrative alongside a faster, more focused execution plan for analysts.

"Most pricing teams have been working through RFPs without a unified strategy, just rep by rep, lane by lane. This gives pricing leaders the bird's-eye view they need and gives analysts the guided workflow that gets them to submission faster, on lanes that actually fit their network,” said Jonathan Salama, Co-Founder and CEO of Transfix.
