Porter Airlines Grows Hamilton Network With Launch of Winnipeg and St. John’s

HAMILTON, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Porter Airlines is launching two new routes, expanding its Hamilton network across Canada. Nonstop service between Hamilton (YHM) and Winnipeg (YWG) began yesterday, operating up to six roundtrips weekly. Hamilton - St. John’s (YYT) takes off today, with daily service by late June.

The initial flight schedules are as follows:

Both routes are operating on the airline’s state-of-the-art, 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, featuring a two-by-two configuration, and free, fast WiFi for everyone onboard. Passengers will also enjoy complimentary beer and wine in glassware and free premium Canadian snacks. Travellers in the Greater Hamilton Area now have non-stop access to 14 destinations. Since launching Hamilton service in June 2025, Porter has introduced eight domestic, two transborder, and three sun destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean, including newly-announced Montego Bay, Jamaica.
