Fry-Vanuch serves as Head of Government Affairs for FUJIFILM Americas. Prior to joining Fujifilm in 2023, Fry-Vanuch spent more than 20 years in the biopharmaceutical industry and developed significant expertise in the specialized field of government affairs for global pharmaceutical companies.

“The invitation to join BIO’s board is a tremendous honor,” said Fry-Vanuch. “Fujifilm’s deepening involvement in BIO reflects our commitment to the success of the entire biotech sector. This is an opportunity to work alongside the top leaders in our field during a dynamic time in the industry, and to contribute to policy building and advocacy that is shaping the next era of biotech.”

Fujifilm’s life sciences portfolio of businesses works as “Partners for Life” to offer products, services and comprehensive solutions that support every stage of therapeutic development, from discovery to commercial supply.

“Fujifilm is one of the world’s leading end-to-end solutions providers in the biotechnology space, and our success depends on our worldwide network of partners throughout the biotech ecosystem who rely on our capability and capacity to support the critical touchpoints of their work,” said Toshi Iida, Director and General Manager of Life Science Headquarters, FUJIFILM Corporation. “This gives us a unique perspective and an important voice to bring to the table — not just for Fujifilm, but to reflect the needs and aspirations of our partners.”

Fry-Vanuch and other new members will attend their first meeting as elected members in June, when the board convenes ahead of the BIO International Convention.

Fujifilm will showcase its “Partners for Life” life sciences offerings at booth #3123 during the BIO International Convention, taking place June 22-25 at the San Diego Convention Center. BIO 26 is the largest event in biotechnology, with over 20,000 industry members expected to attend from around the world.
