The new dedicated landing page was developed in partnership with the American Academy of Family Physicians and lives on their patient website, FamilyDoctor.org. The page features essential cleaning resources aimed at empowering families with cleaning and disinfecting guidance, especially during the early stages of parenthood.

The new resource hub builds on ACI’s Clean First Steps toolkit, which offers practical tips, checklists, and educational materials designed to help parents maintain a healthy and hygienic environment for their newborns. The toolkit equips parents with step-by-step instructions and trusted information to navigate common cleaning challenges, giving peace of mind during this special time.

“New parents deserve peace of mind when it comes to keeping their homes clean and safe,” said Brian Sansoni, Senior Vice President, Communications, Outreach & Membership of the American Cleaning Institute. “We are proud to partner with AAFP to bring families reliable resources that support their health and well-being.”

“Cleanliness is a vital component of family health, and something I see many new parents stress over when bringing a child home,” shared Dr. Libby Wetterer, a family physician and member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. “As a pregnant person myself, it’s great to have all these resources in one place. As a physician, I feel confident these tools will help parents confidently make informed decisions in their daily routines.”

As families embark on the journey of parenthood, ACI remains committed to providing accessible and trustworthy cleaning resources, and family physicians are partners in the family health journey.
