Built on ServiceNow’s Now Assist interface and leveraging the Model Context Protocol, the Nicus AI Agent provides a conversational experience that allows users to ask questions in plain language and receive immediate, contextual answers. The solution draws on Nicus’ product documentation and ITFM and Modern TBM methodologies to deliver precise, actionable guidance without requiring users to leave the platform.

The Nicus AI Agent addresses a persistent challenge for ITFM practitioners: accessing timely, expert guidance during implementation and day-to-day operations. Historically, teams have relied on documentation searches, support tickets, or external consultants—introducing delays and limiting productivity. By embedding expertise directly into the workflow, Nicus enables faster implementations, improved feature adoption, cost model development, and reduced dependency on support resources.

“Organizations are under increasing pressure to deliver value from their technology investments faster,” said Adam Garland, Chief Product Officer at Nicus. “The Nicus AI Agent puts expert guidance directly in the hands of practitioners at the moment they need it. This is an important step in our broader AI strategy to make ITFM intelligence more accessible, actionable, and embedded across the platforms our customers rely on.”

The release reflects Nicus’ One Solution. Two Platforms. approach, with the Nicus AI Agent now available in the ServiceNow Store and expanded AI capabilities planned for the Nicus Cloud platform later this year. These future enhancements are expected to further extend how organizations interact with and derive insight from their technology financial data.

Nicus is exhibiting at ServiceNow Knowledge 2026 in Las Vegas this week, where attendees can learn how organizations are connecting technology spend to business value through intelligent financial management. Visitors to the Nicus booth can see the Nicus AI Agent in action and hear from Nicus experts, including a featured session led by Craig Hollenbeck, exploring how AI is being applied to enhance ITFM outcomes.
