Mayflower Communications Introduces the Smallest, Fully Integrated Assured PNT Solution with NAVWAR Situational Awareness Capability

BEDFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mayflower Communications Company, Inc., the technology leader in small Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) GPS Anti-Jam solutions for 40 years, today announced the release of the NavGuard^® 750 - Integrated M-Code Anti-Jam System (IMAS) — the industry’s most compact, fully integrated, and affordable Assured Position, Navigation and Timing (APNT) system with NAVWAR Situational Awareness (SA) capability.

Developed with sponsorship from the U.S. Space Force, Canadian Department of National Defence, and U.S. Navy NIWC Pacific, the NavGuard^® 750 was designed to meet the APNT protection requirements of the U.S. Department of War and Canadian Armed Forces, particularly for severely SWaP-constrained platforms. The system has already demonstrated successful performance in contested Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) test environments.

The NavGuard^® 750 IMAS is well-suited for deployment on small ships, unmanned surface vessels (USVs), unmanned aerial systems (UASs), SWaP constrained ground combat vehicles, robots, and fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, providing warfighters with resilient navigation and timing even under hostile jamming conditions.

Technology and Integration

The NavGuard^® 750 builds on Mayflower’s operationally proven TRL 9 MAGNA-I GPS Anti-Jam solution, already integrated across multiple U.S. military and government platforms. The IMAS product integrates:

• MAGNA-I AJ solution within a Controlled Reception Pattern Antenna (CRPA) array
• Military GPS Receiver with simultaneous dual-frequency (L1/L2) support
• MEMS Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) for short-term accuracy, spoofing mitigation, and operation during GPS outages
• Chip-Scale Atomic Clock (CSAC) for precision timing and rapid re-acquisition
• Additional Situational Awareness capability including Direction of Arrival (DOA) and Jammer Classification

The 7-channel Anti Jam design enables suppression of a wide range of narrowband and wideband jammers, while maintaining performance in high-dynamic environments, including countering rotor blade modulation.
