CEO Magazine Ranks Jack Welch Management Institute the #8 Online MBA Program in U.S.

JWMI also ranked in the top 30 of global online MBA programs

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Jack Welch Management Institute at Strayer University (JWMI) earned the #8 ranking among U.S. online MBA programs from CEO Magazine. The magazine also recognized JWMI as #30 among 90 global online MBA programs, marking the fourteenth year the program has ranked on the CEO Magazine Global Online MBA Programs list.

"At JWMI, we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver the highest quality student experience,” said Dr. Antoinette Farmer-Thompson, President of Strayer University. “This ranking reflects the hard work of our exceptional faculty and dedicated staff, who are committed to providing individualized attention and tailored support that empowers each student to reach their full potential. Our graduates leave as stronger leaders, both personally and professionally, ready to make an impact in their careers and communities."

CEO Magazine’s prestigious list includes separate rankings for traditional MBA, Executive MBA and Global Online MBA programs to help students choose the best school that fits their professional and academic needs. By looking at more than 340 programs across 24 countries and gathering information – including faculty quality, accreditation, cohort composition, exposure and value measures – CEO Magazine offers a reference point for students to assess fit, format and long-term alignment rather than position alone.

JWMI has placed among the top 10 in CEO Magazine’s online MBA program rankings for 10 consecutive years. Prior to this year’s announcement, JWMI placed at #4 in 2025 and #3 in 2024 among North American online MBA programs. The program has also been highly ranked among online MBA programs by The Princeton Review and Poets&Quants.

Since becoming part of Strayer University in 2011, JWMI has grown and graduated more than 5,200 students. Founded by the late Jack Welch – renowned CEO, business icon and one of Forbes’ greatest business minds – JWMI was designed to provide students with opportunities to learn from business leaders and enable them to propel their careers forward. Jack Welch’s influence spans the curriculum, the faculty, the students, and the administration. JWMI currently enrolls approximately 2,000 students, representing over 27 countries.
