Built exclusively for Nex Playground, the game transforms players’ real-world movements into powerful earthbending techniques, inspired by the iconic Earth Rumble tournament from the acclaimed animated TV series “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”

For the first time, longtime fans, alongside a new generation of players, can step into the role of a young earthbender competing in the legendary Earth Rumble Tournament, a secret underground competition from the TV series. Through movement-based gameplay, players will experience an immersive blend of fantasy, action and martial arts elements through Nex Playground’s controller-free gameplay.

Under the guidance of Toph, the legendary “Blind Bandit,” players face a lineup of formidable opponents, including The Boulder, Hippo, The Gecko, and Gopher. As players advance, they’ll sharpen their earthbending skills and strategy to defeat increasingly challenging opponents and try to become the next Earth Rumble Champion.

Key gameplay elements include:

• Earthbending Training: Players learn signature earthbending techniques from Toph. Stomp to launch earth into the air, strike to send rocks flying, raise their arms to create stone spires, and jump, duck and dodge to evade flying boulders
• Gameplay Modes: Players choose from several gameplay modes, including Story Mode to rise through the ranks of Earth Rumble with the help of Toph, Rematch Mode to rematch any of the contenders in a harder mode with objectives to unlock costumes, and Training Modes to practice their earthbending skills before hitting the arena.
• Progression Capabilities: As players progress, they forge their own Earth Rumble persona, unlocking new costumes, including masks featuring deep cuts from the show, from the likes of Appa and Momo.
