Clarasight Raises $11.5M Series A to Optimize Enterprise Travel Spend with AI
Recurring revenue grew roughly 10x last year; four of the sixteen largest corporate travel programs in the BTN 100 now use Clarasight, including two Big Four accounting firms.
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Clarasight, the AI platform for enterprise travel and expense, today announced an $11.5 million Series A led by AlleyCorp with participation from Rackhouse Venture Capital, Clocktower Ventures, Pulse Fund, Thayer Ventures, Future Back Ventures, Vestigo Ventures and XYZ Venture Capital. The round follows a year in which recurring revenue grew ~10x and the platform expanded to manage data from programs representing more than $5 billion in enterprise travel and expense spend. The investment will fund product development and go-to-market expansion across North America and Europe.
Corporate travel is one of the largest discretionary spend categories for enterprises, but the systems behind it remain highly fragmented and siloed from the rest of the business. Travel, expense, HR, and supplier data often live in separate systems and incompatible formats, leaving travel and finance teams to reconcile spreadsheets manually just to understand spend, policy compliance, and supplier performance.
Clarasight’s Data Management Agents integrate data from an enterprise's travel management companies, expense tools, card programs, and HR systems to normalize fragmented systems into a unified, real-time AI-ready model. Once this foundation is established, Clarasight powers insights and actions across teams to drive financial, emissions and supplier savings.
Automated workflows with humans-in-the-lead replace manual processes, supplier negotiations are backed by a fully defensible spend picture, policy exceptions are caught early, and what-if scenarios that once took hours now take seconds — giving lean teams the infrastructure and automation to run complex global programs without adding headcount.
The company now counts four of the sixteen largest corporate travel programs in the BTN 100 among its customers, including two Big Four accounting firms. Enterprise customers using Clarasight have reduced reporting and insight delivery time by 99% while eliminating more than 90% of the manual data review cycles that previously consumed their teams.
“Every other core business function has been transformed by AI-native software,” said Adam Braun, Co-Founder and CEO of Clarasight. “Corporate travel hasn't, and that gap is costing enterprises billions in inefficient spend, budget overruns, and hours of manual work every day. Clarasight closes that gap, and the demand we're seeing tells us the market is ready.”
“The corporate travel sector has lagged behind other enterprise categories in its use of AI, making this an extremely compelling opportunity in AI software development,” said Marshall Porter, General Partner at AlleyCorp. “Many of the world’s largest companies are now working with Clarasight, and view the platform as a truly mission-critical part of how their business operates.”
