VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Forum, a Canadian charity unlocking the economic power of women entrepreneurs at scale, celebrates the three grand prize recipients of this year’s The Odlum Brown Forum Pitch. Each recipient will receive a $38,000 CAD prize package, made possible through the support of Wheaton Precious Metals, to help advance the next stage of growth for their business.

- NovaSonix Healthcare Inc. is a medical technology company based in London, Ontario, that has developed MSKNovaVue™, an attachment that transforms any standard ultrasound probe into a real-time 3D ultrasound scanner for musculoskeletal imaging to support faster, more accessible diagnostics at the point of care.

Yoobin Lee, CEO & Co-Founder of Quip Medical
- Quip Medical, based in Kitchener, Ontario, is an AI-powered platform that automates and optimizes billing for physicians directly within their electronic medical records.

Annual finale event raises $1.52 million for women entrepreneurs
On April 24, 2026, The Forum hosted The Odlum Brown Forum Pitch Finale in Vancouver at the JW Marriott Parq. This year’s finale event raised a record $1.52 million dollars to help more women entrepreneurs across Canada access the funding opportunities they need to grow.
The three finalists took the stage to present their business visions before a sold-out crowd. The event also featured live audience voting, with NovaSonix Healthcare Inc. selected to receive an additional prize package valued at $20,000 CAD, thanks to the generosity of Wheaton Precious Metals, the program’s grand prize Capital Sponsor.
Special guests at this year’s finale included Michele Romanow, renowned entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and Dragon on CBC’s Dragons’ Den, as well as Tara Bosch, founder of SmartSweets (acquired by TPG Growth for $360 million USD), and winner of the inaugural The Forum Pitch ten years ago.

Marking 10 years, The Odlum Brown Forum Pitch is a national program for women entrepreneurs who are raising external capital. With community at the heart of the program, its goal is to foster connections with funders, leaders and experts ready to support them on their funding and business journey. The program offers education, 1:1 mentorship, coaching, national exposure, and access to specialized resources and networks so women entrepreneurs can secure the funding, community, and support they need for growth.
