TemperPack Becomes a Certified B Corporation™

RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TemperPack®, the leader in sustainable thermal packaging, has earned certification from the nonprofit B Lab as a B Corporation™, joining a global community of companies held to the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

The certification spans the entire TemperPack business and marks a defining milestone for a company that has spent a decade displacing legacy plastics with science-driven, sustainable alternatives, having protected more than 200 million shipments worldwide in the process.

"The best packaging solution and the most sustainable one should be the same thing; that's the standard we hold ourselves to," said Peter Wells, Chief Executive Officer of TemperPack. "B Corp Certification reflects how deeply that commitment runs, from the materials we engineer to the relationships we build. We're proud to join a global community of companies proving that performance, value, and purpose don't just coexist; they compound."

Earning B Corp status is no small feat in any industry. In packaging, historically one of the most waste-intensive sectors in the supply chain, it's a genuine differentiator. The rigorous B Lab assessment evaluated TemperPack across environmental impact, worker equity, community investment, and governance, providing an independently verified benchmark that the company will use to accelerate its continued evolution toward a fully responsible business model.

"Going through the B Impact Assessment gave us a sharper lens on where we're already strong and where we have room to grow," said Liz Helm, Senior Sustainability Manager at TemperPack. "This isn't a finish line; it's a framework we'll use to keep pushing our practices forward for our customers, our communities, and the environment."
