Kleinfelder Appoints David Goershel as National Federal Market Manager

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Kleinfelder Group, Inc. (“Kleinfelder”), a leading engineering, design, construction management, construction materials inspection and testing, and environmental professional services firm, announced that David (Dave) Goershel has been appointed as National Federal Market Manager. In this strategic leadership role, Goershel will oversee the firm’s federal growth strategy while continuing to serve as Executive Vice President and South Division Director.

The appointment underscores Kleinfelder’s commitment to expanding its footprint within the federal sector. As the firm looks toward the future, it has identified significant opportunities to address the increasing demand for engineering and environmental services across federal infrastructure. Goershel brings over 40 years of industry experience to the role, with more than three decades dedicated to project execution, program management, and strategic development within the federal market. His career includes executive leadership roles with multiple Department of Defense organizations, including the Air Force Civil Engineer Center, Air Force Reserve Command, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Defense Logistics Agency, and Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, as well as civilian agencies such as the National Park Service, U.S. Postal Service, Federal Emergency Management Agency, and General Services Administration.
