Two name partners among firm’s 2026 honorees

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Three Jordan, Lynch & Cancienne partners and a fourth of counsel attorney have been recognized for excellence in business and civil litigation in the 2026 edition of Texas Super Lawyers.

Repeat honorees Kevin Jordan, Michael Cancienne and Jeb Golinkin are joined on the list by Of Counsel Susan Thomas. Mr. Cancienne, Mr. Golinkin and Ms. Thomas were recognized for business litigation and Mr. Jordan for plaintiffs’ civil litigation.

Mr. Jordan, who has been named to the list 18 times, has tried cases from coast to coast during his 30-year legal career, focusing on cases involving the chemical and oil and gas industries. He is board certified in civil trial law and personal injury law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Mr. Cancienne, a 14-time Texas Super Lawyers honoree, handles cases involving commercial, construction and insurance matters. He tries cases in state and federal courts, before regulatory bodies and in alternative dispute resolution venues.

Mr. Golinkin, honored by Super Lawyers for a third consecutive year, handles cases involving intellectual property rights, shareholder disputes, antitrust violations, class action claims and other complex commercial disputes. He is admitted for practice before two federal appeals courts.

Ms. Thomas has represented chemical companies, insurance carriers, energy firms and a public utility in complex commercial cases. She has also counseled manufacturing and technology companies and nonprofits in commercial and insurance matters.

“Recognition by Super Lawyers represents the wide breadth of matters handled by our team,” said Mr. Jordan. “We are so pleased that our colleagues and, most importantly, our clients, recognize the quality of our work.”

Super Lawyers uses peer nominations and evaluations and staff research to select candidates, who are evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement.
