Mr. Parish, who joined Miller Fair Henry as an associate in 2022, first worked as an intern with the predecessor firm Ward, Smith & Hill. A native of East Texas, he returned to the area to practice law after graduating with high honors from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he was associate managing editor of the Law Review Association while also practicing with a prestigious law firm in Dallas.

During his tenure at Miller Fair Henry, Mr. Parish has become adept in matters involving patents and complex commercial litigation and has assisted teams in more than a dozen trials. “Garrett always adds valuable perspective and support to our trial team, and we look forward to him continuing to expand his advocacy skills as a partner at our firm,” said partner Andrea Fair.

Mr. Parish, who comes from a family immersed in the legal field, was recently named a Texas Rising Star by Super Lawyers, an honor given to attorneys under 40 or in their first decade of practice. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Gregg County and Harrison County Bar Associations and The Honorable T. John Ward American Inn of Court.
