Dejero Smart Blending Technology Becomes the First Blended Hybrid Transport Certified for NDI Workflows
Dejero joins the NDI® Connected Partner Program as the only transport solution to combine intelligent multi-network blending with certified NDI interoperability, validated for NDI Standard and HX profiles across a certified ecosystem of 50+ AV and broadcast technology brands
WATERLOO, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dejero today announced that its patented and award-winning Smart Blending Technology™ has achieved NDI® Connected Partner certification, making it the first and only blended hybrid transport platform in the world to hold this distinction. Now formally validated for NDI workflows, Dejero Smart Blending Technology is tested, certified, and listed in the NDI Product Finder alongside over 50 leading AV and broadcast technology brands.
World first: Dejero Smart Blending Technology is now NDI® Connected Partner certified — the only blended hybrid transport platform validated for NDI workflows.

The certification is the result of hands-on interoperability testing across multiple vendor devices and applications. It confirms that signals transported over Dejero blended hybrid networks flow directly into NDI-enabled switchers, mixers, monitors, and production software, without format conversion, compatibility uncertainty, and workarounds.
“The broadcast industry is converging on IP-native production, and NDI is the protocol that makes that convergence real. Becoming the first blended hybrid transport platform certified for NDI workflows is not just a product milestone, it is a statement about where broadcast infrastructure is heading,” said Kevin Fernandes, Chief Revenue Officer at Dejero. “Connectivity and production are no longer separate decisions. Dejero Smart Blending Technology is now certified to sit at both ends of that workflow: in the field and in the studio.”
A Historic First for Hybrid Connectivity
NDI® (Network Device Interface) is the industry standard protocol for IP video over local area networks: enabling high-quality, low-latency video, audio, and metadata to move freely across any standard network infrastructure. It is the foundation of modern software-defined production. NDI Connected Partner certification requires documented, hands-on interoperability testing across multiple vendor devices and applications.
No blended hybrid transport platform has held this certification before. Dejero Smart Blending Technology is the first.
For the broadcast industry, the significance is structural. Connectivity and production have traditionally been procured and deployed as separate disciplines. With NDI Connected Partner certification, Dejero collapses that boundary: the same platform that delivers resilient, multi-path connectivity from the field now integrates natively and verifiably into the IP production chain at the studio end.
“NDI was built to make video behave like data—flexible, accessible, and network-agnostic. What Dejero has achieved with Smart Blending Technology extends that vision beyond the local network, bringing the same reliability and simplicity of NDI workflows to the unpredictable conditions of real-world connectivity. This certification represents an important step in unifying contribution and production into a single, seamless IP workflow,” said John Orlando Sales Manager - North America at NDI.
What the Certification Delivers
For broadcasters and production teams:
- Certified signals: Dejero blended hybrid networks, cellular, satellite, Wi-Fi, wired, or any combination, are delivered as certified NDI output, validated against NDI Standard and HX profiles
- Downstream NDI tools: switchers, graphics engines, monitors, routers, production software receive the signal natively with no conversion step and no integration uncertainty
- Approved ecosystems: can now be specified to procurement teams and systems integrators as NDI-certified, with documented interoperability
For systems integrators:
- Dejero is now listed in the NDI Product Finder, the primary reference for AV professionals and integrators evaluating NDI-compatible solutions, making it discoverable and specifiable within standard integration workflows
- The certification answers a procurement requirement that systems integrators increasingly encounter: NDI compatibility must be documented, not assumed
- Dejero deployments now integrate naturally with the broader certified NDI ecosystem, reducing integration risk and shortening commissioning timelines
High-Revenue Workflows
Broadcasters and systems integrators can now deploy Dejero blended connectivity within NDI workflows with full confidence: the integration is tested, certified, and supported by both organizations.
Three high-value production workflows are now enabled:
- Cloud-Based REMI: Field cameras connect to Dejero hybrid transport device such as EnGo transmitters or TITAN routers; Smart Blending Technology carries the signal to the cloud; Dejero’s network transports the NDI signal directly into cloud-based production switchers (vMix, TriCaster, Viz Vectar). Zero SDI infrastructure. Zero on-premises hardware. Built for tier-2 and tier-3 sports broadcasters, digital-first news organizations, and remote production teams reducing capital costs without reducing reliability.
- Pop-Up Production Networks: Dejero solutions provide a blended, venue-independent internet backbone; NDI Bridge delivers high-quality, low-latency video between the venue and a remote-control room. Production teams can arrive at any location, regardless of local infrastructure, and establish a full production network in minutes.
- Esports and Remote Commentary: Dejero provides stable, fail-safe transport for distributed productions; NDI integrates webcams, gameplay capture, and return feeds with frame-accurate sync to the central production hub. As esports production converges on IP-native workflows, Dejero + NDI provides the reliable transport foundation the vertical demands.
From a remote contributor transmitting over blended cellular and satellite, to a studio operator receiving and routing the feed in an NDI-native production environment: the entire signal chain is now certifiably connected.
The certification will be showcased at NAB Show 2026 (April 19–22, Las Vegas, Booth W-2761).
