EUREKA SPRINGS, Ark. — A life-sized zebra sculpture is carefully loaded for transport as part of Kalahari Resorts & Conventions’ “Safari Migration,” a cross-country journey bringing handcrafted animal figures from their fabrication studio in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, to their permanent home at the brand’s newest resort in Spotsylvania, Virginia.
SPOTSYLVANIA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Something BIG is officially on the move. Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, home to America’s Largest Indoor Waterparks, today announced the launch of its Safari Migration, a multi-state road tour featuring a caravan of eight semi trucks transporting massive, handcrafted animal sculptures traveling from Northwest Arkansas to Virginia in celebration of the brand’s highly anticipated new resort, officially opening November 12, 2026.
The Safari Migration will make a series of high-visibility stops across key markets, offering interactive moments, media opportunities, and chances to win a future stay at Kalahari’s newest destination. The journey kicks off in Eureka Springs, Arkansas on Tuesday, April 14, traveling through multiple cities and states en route to Spotsylvania, Virginia.

Each stop will give families, fans and media the chance to experience the larger-than-life sculptures up close, capture photos and learn more about what Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is bringing to Virginia.
The Safari Migration will culminate in Spotsylvania on Friday, April 17, when the full caravan arrives and the sculptures are lifted by crane and installed on the exterior of the resort - creating a dramatic first look at the guest experience that awaits visitors later this year.
