YuJa Introduces Candidate AI Interview Module to Advance and Secure Online Interview Experiences

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--YuJa, a leader in accessibility, video management, and test proctoring solutions for regulated sectors, expanded proctoring capabilities to interview processes in the Verity Test Proctoring Platform through the new Candidate AI Interview Module.

“We are prepared to help organizations and agencies make confident, informed hiring decisions that will drive growth and innovation."

The YuJa Candidate AI Interview Module, built using YuJa Verity’s Proctoring Engines, incorporates a wide range of proctoring tools, including the ability to disable certain actions, restrict access to devices, and analyze candidate behavior in real-time. This will strengthen the integrity of online interviews by preventing candidates from using unauthorized aid while allowing them to showcase their experience and expertise with honesty.

Some key features include:

  • AI-Powered Detection: The interview environment will be analyzed via AI-infused algorithms to detect multiple people and suspicious objects.
  • AI Object Analysis: Prohibited secondary devices within the interview environment, such as phones and laptops, will be detected using advanced object detection algorithms.
  • AI ID Verification: Candidates will be asked to verify their ID using AI-enhanced facial recognition.
  • Recording Configurations: Candidates’ video, audio, and screen activity will be recorded. A 360-degree room scan of the interview environment will be required.
  • Disable Screen and Keyboard Activity: Candidates have restricted access to tools such as spell-check, clipboard, print, screen-capture, file download, virtual cameras, Apple Handoff, and right clicks.
  • Tab Configurations: Candidates cannot open or close tabs, unauthorized websites, browser extensions, decoy websites, and side panels.
  • Block Items: Candidates cannot access virtual machines, unauthorized desktop applications, mobile devices, and multiple screens.
  • Other Activities: Activity such as system performance, candidate location, keyboard activity, web traffic, and internet connection can be tracked or disabled.

Interviewers can set different severity levels for each flag raised during a proctored interview session to confidently select the right candidates aligned with their requirements. The platform easily integrates with video conferencing applications such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom for Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), allowing users to access its tools directly from interfaces they are familiar with.

“We are prepared to help organizations and agencies make confident, informed hiring decisions that will drive growth and innovation," said YuJa’s Chief Executive Officer, Nathan Arora. “YuJa Candidate AI offers our clients a comprehensive set of tools and simplifies the interview experience without complex technical requirements.”
