NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Knot, a leading all-in-one wedding technology platform, announced today the launch of a new program designed to raise the bar for trust and confidence in wedding planning. The Knot Peace of Mind supports couples in the case of an unavoidable vendor cancellation, helping connect them with replacements and reduce unplanned costs so they can continue to focus on the joy behind one of life’s most meaningful moments. For wedding professionals, the program provides a distinguished mark of trust, helping businesses stand out in a competitive marketplace and ensuring couples can book with greater confidence.

While vendor cancellations are uncommon, 74% of couples surveyed by The Knot in February 2026 said they worry they will not have a safety net when planning their wedding—fearing they’ll be left without options if a vendor falls through close to their wedding day. Now, in the rare instance of an unplanned vendor cancellation such as an illness or emergency, The Knot’s dedicated support team will assist couples by providing fast rebooking options, and when applicable, financial support to help offset any potential price difference. New vendor options, tailored to the couple’s preferences, will be sourced from The Knot’s trusted marketplace—providing a seamless safety net alongside best-in-class support.

Covered vendors will now stand out with a badge on their digital storefront, adding a visible trust signal for couples. By providing a built-in layer of certainty and confidence, wedding professionals now have another opportunity to get discovered and scale.

The Knot Peace of Mind is currently available in beta to a select audience, with a full launch set to take place over the next few months. To be eligible, couples must be registered on The Knot and have contacted and marked their vendor as booked on The Knot Vendor Marketplace. Covered vendors will have a badge on their Storefront so that couples can easily identify which vendors are covered when selecting their wedding vendor dream team.
