Le Pain Quotidien Brings Spring to the Table With New Seasonal Menu
Guests are invited to enjoy a new seasonally inspired spring menu with a dozen beverage, bakery, breakfast, and lunch items.
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Spring has sprung at Le Pain Quotidien (LPQ), the beloved European bakery and full-service café, with the launch of its all-new spring menu and most significant menu innovation in the last six years. Beginning today, the limited-time menu featuring beverage, bakery, breakfast and lunch items combines high-quality, natural ingredients with wholesome flavors of spring, bringing warmth and nourishment with every bite.
From the unveiling of a new Baked Eggs Benedict available three ways on a croissant roll and Pistachio Strawberry French Toast on house-made brioche to the delectable Tuscan Tuna Toast, Chipotle Chicken Club Toastie and Avocado & Charred Corn Caesar (to name a few!), the new spring lineup celebrates LPQ’s focus on thoughtfully crafted dishes made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Guests can also enjoy the new Iced Shaken Banana Chai, returning fan-favorite Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte, and freshly prepared treats from the bakery, such as the Strawberry Babka Brioche.
“At Le Pain Quotidien, we’re thrilled to welcome springtime with my favorite seasonal menu to date – whether guests are stopping by for a quick matcha and scone or lingering over a leisurely breakfast or lunch in our cozy dining room,” said Ellen de Smedt Kilgariff, VP of Food & Beverage at Le Pain Quotidien. “We meticulously select high-quality and natural ingredients for our house-made recipes, everything from the syrups and purées in our beverages to our signature salad dressings and baked goods. We're so excited to share this labor of love with our guests!"
Expertly crafted by LPQ artisan bakers and chefs, the new spring menu includes:
-
BREAKFAST & BRUNCH
- Baked Eggs Benedict: It’s fitting that LPQ's first-ever Eggs Benedict is served on a flaky croissant roll baked in-house. It’s available in three variations (Avocado, Bacon, and Smoked Salmon) and served with baked eggs, creamy hollandaise, scallions, microgreens and a green salad.
- Pistachio Strawberry French Toast: House-made brioche baked with a layer of creamy pistachio almond frangipane on top, topped with crushed pistachios, sweet and airy Chantilly cream (you may recognize from their signature French Cream Doughnut), fresh strawberries, and a delicate drizzle of maple syrup.
-
LUNCH
- Chipotle Chicken Club Toastie: LPQ’s European twist on a classic club sandwich featuring crispy prosciutto, tender chicken, smoky chipotle aioli, plum tomato, and hard boiled egg on freshly-baked toasted sourdough wheat.
- Tuscan Tuna Toast: This toast is quintessential Le Pain Quotidien—fresh, wholesome, well-balanced, and served on their signature sourdough wheat. Marinated tuna layered on a white bean spread, topped with peppery arugula, fennel slaw, radish, and microgreens, and finished with a drizzle of herb aioli make for an incomparable take on tuna salad.
- Avocado & Charred Corn Caesar: This summer caesar combines crisp kale and romaine tossed with charred corn, fresh avocado, grape tomatoes, cucumber, radish, and pickled onion, finished with a layer of shaved Parmesan, house-made baguette croutons, and classic Caesar dressing.
-
FROM OUR BAKERY
- Strawberry Babka Brioche: LPQ’s signature strawberry jam lightly folded into a house-made babka brioche bun, with a sprinkling of strawberry sugar on top.
- Poppyseed Passionfruit Crookie: Each season brings a new flavor of the beloved Crookie—a playful twist on a cookie and croissant—and this spring features a sweet, bright, and jammy combination of poppyseed and passionfruit.
- Cheddar Scallion Scone: A house-made classic French scone made with cheddar and scallions.
-
BEVERAGE
- Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte: Ceremonial grade Uji matcha poured over house-made strawberry and white chocolate puree mixed with your choice of milk for a perfectly sweet and highly-photogenic spring beverage.
- Iced Shaken Banana Chai: LPQ’s first-ever shaken-to-order latte combines house-made chai and fresh banana white chocolate puree for a smooth and frothy pick-me-up topped with chai spice.
- Sparkling Lavender Lemonade: House-made lavender syrup made with pea flower powder, adding antioxidant benefits, blended with lemon juice and sparkling water for a light, refreshing, and floral sip.
