Bodnar’s appointment is the next step in a decade-long succession plan to preserve CM Wealth’s employee-owned status and continue its 40-year history of concierge care to client families. He joined CM Wealth in 2015 and championed modernization of the firm’s strategy, particularly through expansion of its private capital and direct investment platforms. He will maintain his role as chief investment officer.
“Ten years ago, we began designing a path for CM Wealth to thrive as an enduring, partner-owned institution,” McCreery said. “Paul has spent the last decade driving our strategic evolution and embodies the culture of discipline our clients expect. Now is the time to pass the baton to a leader who has the vision to guide this firm for the next generation.”
At a time of widespread industry consolidation, CM Wealth continues to favor a team-based approach that prioritizes long-term stewardship.
“By remaining employee-owned, we can ignore pressures of outside shareholders and focus entirely on the multi-generational objectives of our client families,” Bodnar said. “I am honored to lead a firm that balances high-touch service, institutional-grade investment capabilities, and personalized solutions for our clients.”
