The AI Summit London Launches Strategic Partnerships with London Business School and General Purpose to Ignite New Era in AI Leadership
New One-Day Intensive Experience Offered 9 June Ahead of Conference 10-11 June at Tobacco Dock Featuring 10 Stages and 14 Tracks
LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The AI Summit London, the conference where commercial AI comes to life, has announced strategic collaborations with London Business School and General Purpose to introduce two dedicated AI Training programmes, taking place ahead of the conference on 9 June.
Drawing upon the globally recognised expertise in executive education at the London Business School’s Data Science & AI Initiative (DSAI), the one-day AI Leadership Accelerator is a high-impact session designed to equip senior business leaders with the knowledge and tools to unlock real and profitable value from AI.
The DSAI at London Business School helps leaders make sense of AI in a way that goes beyond the hype, focusing on what it really means for their organisations, industries, and competitive positioning. Drawing on rigorous, cross-disciplinary research, DSAI provides clear, evidence-based insights - equipping executives with the perspective needed to make confident, high-stakes decisions.
“Through our work we increasingly see that the central challenge of AI adoption is not technical capability alone, but organisational readiness, leadership alignment, and responsible implementation,” said Keyvan Vakili, Associate Professor, Strategy & Entrepreneurship, London Business School. “Success with AI depends on how organisations and leaders adapt, how they redesign organisational processes, align decision-making, manage stakeholders, and build the structures needed to deploy and scale these systems effectively.”
The track for practitioners and more general users of AI, Mastering AI: From Prompts to Agents led by General Purpose, a UK AI enablement and training company, operates as a hands-on technical workshop designed to take business professionals of varying backgrounds from confident AI assistant user to capable agent builder in a single day, underscoring the continued evolution of The AI Summit London as a forum where insight meets implementation.
“As artificial intelligence assumes a central role in shaping enterprise strategy, the need for informed, capable leadership has never been more pronounced,” said Rory Crone, Senior Marketing Director, The AI Summit Series. “Through our new partnerships with London Business School and General Purpose, the new programmes provide a platform for successful AI adoption that hinges not only on technology, but on executive acumen, strategic integration, and organisational readiness.”
Part of the expanded Summit’s 2026 offering, the bespoke training will take place at Studio Spaces located across from Tobacco Dock and offers a focused learning environment tailored to decision makers seeking to translate artificial intelligence from concept into commercial impact.
