“Mike brings a rare combination of deep investing experience, thoughtful partnership, and a strong track record of execution,” said Brian O’Connor, NGP Founder and Managing Partner. “He has spent his career working closely with founders, operators, and management teams, and that approach aligns directly with how we invest and build businesses at NGP. We are thrilled to welcome Mike to the team.”

Eisinger joins NGP with nearly 15 years of private equity experience across business services and manufacturing sectors. Most recently, he was a senior member of the investment team at Kinzie Capital Partners, where he was responsible for deal evaluation and execution, origination, and portfolio company management, and served on the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to Kinzie, he was a Director at Parallel49 Equity, where he played a key role in investment execution and served on multiple portfolio company boards.

Earlier in his career, Eisinger worked in the investment banking group at Stout and as a member of the investment team at Arbor Investments, where he was involved in acquisitions, recapitalizations, and portfolio company oversight.

“I’m excited to join the team at NextGen Growth Partners,” said Eisinger. “NGP has built a differentiated model centered around partnering with exceptional entrepreneurs to acquire and grow businesses. The firm’s approach, culture, and track record strongly resonated with me, and I’m looking forward to contributing to its continued success.”

Eisinger earned his B.A. in Financial Management and Economics from the University of St. Thomas, graduating summa cum laude, and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he graduated with high honors as a Wallman Scholar and served as a teaching assistant for the Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition course.

Eisinger joins NGP at an exciting time as the firm continues to expand its investment team and deploy its third fund into new platform investments.
